GdS: Milan squad engage in Zoom training sessions – the target is to begin 2022 fast

By Oliver Fisher -

The Milan players have already resumed preparations ahead of their return to action against Roma next Thursday, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how the squad were able to enjoy a short holiday to celebrate Christmas but now they are back to work with a very specific target: to surprise everyone with a fast start to the second half of the season.

The Rossoneri coach has scheduled two training sessions via Zoom. Yesterday morning at 10:30am the players connected with the athletic trainers for some posture and balance exercises, lunges and abdominal work, splitting into groups to do so.

Pioli’s team are the only one free from commitments in European competitions and can therefore immediately focus on the league and mounting a Scudetto challenge, with the return of some key players like Calabria, Leao and Rebic on the horizon to add a further boost.
