Milan’s list of injured players reaches 10 – latest on fitness of Calabria and Ibrahimovic

AC Milan are repeatedly battling against a selection crisis at present and some updates have arrived on two injured players.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to work separately at Milanello as he tries to get rid of the Achilles inflammation that has disrupted him since he sustained an injury in the 2-0 victory over Lazio.

MilanLive writes that Davide Calabria also worked separately but on the pitch and the full-back is ahead of Zlatan in his recovery. Stefano Pioli hopes to have him back for Milan’s game against Hellas Verona on Saturday night at San Siro, but if not then Pierre Kalulu is ready to step up.

The remaining players who are out reads as follows: Alessandro Florenzi (after surgery), Mike Maignan (after surgery), Alessandro Plizzari (after surgery), Theo Hernandez (Covid-19), Tiemoué Bakayoko (muscle problem), Rade Krunic (muscle problem) and Junior Messias (muscle problem).

  1. Now the weather is very cold, which is not very good for the muscle. The players need to wear the leggings to keep their legs warm in order to protect their muscle.
