CM: Milinkovic-Savic could finally leave Lazio – Milan among three teams ‘in the front row’

Tomorrow’s game between Lazio and Roma could be the last Derby della Capitale for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as his future is uncertain, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Serbian midfielder is understandably admirers by many Italian sides but also clubs abroad, and this summer could be the one where he finally makes the jump to a club competing perennially for trophies.

Claudio Lotito is still asking for no less than €60m for the 27-year-old old to leave, with Inter, Milan and Juve are ‘in the front row’ in case he does leave, but none of the three clubs can pay that asking price.

Milinkovic-Savic is having another brilliant season under Maurizio Sarri playing under a new system having racked up 8 goals and 9 assists in the league during the current campaign, which is exactly the total he managed in the entirety of the 2020-21 season.

He could slot into a midfield three if the Rossoneri did go to a 4-3-3, or could perhaps be the attacking midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 given his end product.
