MN: Milos Kerkez to complete permanent move to AZ Alkmaar – medical scheduled

Some surprising news has emerged this morning as Primavera defender Milos Kerkez is joining AZ Alkmaar on a permanent deal, according to a report.

Kerkez arrived at Milan during the 2021 winter transfer market from ETO FC Győr and after it sounded as though he was adapting more and more to Italian football. He trained as part of the senior squad at Milanello over the summer and Stefano Pioli evaluated him in the various friendlies that the Rossoneri played.

His dynamic performance against Pro Sesto in preseason – during which he got forward more than Theo did in the first half down the left side – was rewarded two goals, leading to suggestions that he isn’t actually far away from the first team.

However, according to the latest from Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews, Kerkez will complete an outright transfer to AZ Alkmaar with a deal between the two clubs having been found. His medical examinations with the Dutch club are already scheduled, and therefore the teenager’s short spell at Milan will come to an end.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri will make a nice capital gain as they will receive €2m from his sale.
