Mirror: Man Utd face competition from Milan for Brazilian forward

By Euan Burns -

Manchester United could find themselves battling with AC Milan for former Inter winger Gabriel Barbosa in what would be a very unexpected transfer battle, a report claims.

As has been reported by The Daily Mirror in the United Kingdom, there is an extraordinary transfer story brewing which could see former Inter winger Barbosa head to either the Premier League or Milan.

Man Utd are keen to let Antony leave the club on loan in January with his form showing little sign of improvement, but it could actually be a swap deal with Flamengo in Brazil that would see the 27-year-old Barbosa head the other way.

Barbosa joined Inter in 2016 from Santos but couldn’t make good on his potential, having three loan spells away from the club.

Milan are mentioned in the report as being another team that is interested in a move for Barbosa. He has got five league goals and one assist in 23 games this season.

  1. If there is any truth to this fire everyone on top of Pioli; Of all the promising Brazilian players to target Gabinogol is the quite possibly the worst.

  2. This is who management want to sign to solve our striker problems after making a colossal error not getting someone in the summer (Thuram, Lukaku, Taremi) not named Jovic?? The savior Barbosa?? 😂😂😂😂😂

  3. No thanks!

Please, go back to the standards that Berlusconi demanded from a Milan player, both in terms of quality and class & style. This guy fits none of those demands.
