Junior Messias arrived ahead of the season, on the final day of the summer window, and it has been a mixed bag from him so far. While he has scored some important goals, AC Milan are still evaluating the buy-out clause.
The Brazilian played from start in the Rossoneri’s 1-0 win over Empoli last night and while he wasn’t terrible, his efforts didn’t amount too much. It’s clear that the right-wing position is one Milan must reinforce and that could change things for Messias.
As per MilanLive, the 30-year-old has a buy-out clause of €5.4m in his contract and while that isn’t much money, Milan are not fully convinced yet. He has been given a lot of space lately and Stefano Pioli had expected more concrete answers from him.
His future with the Rossoneri is thus considered in doubt, just like Tiemoue Bakayoko, but Alessandro Florenzi has seemingly convinced the club to pay his buy-out clause. The final nine games of the season will provide more answers, but it might be too late already for Messias.
The melancholy truth is that he is an average player, he is already 30 years, he simply lacks the quality to be a Milan player permanently,Alexis is a far better player, he loses the ball alot, his passing is not accurate,Alexis has more vision, technique and creativity, many instances u should try and set up a teammate, he prefers to shoot, he is honestly at most a mid table player, and his age is also a factor…
Amazing story, decent player, some great moments, but all in all not worth the buyout. No animosity towards him and thanks for his service.
Please no
He is not for Milan
Either let him go or sign him to trade with Sassuolo as part of Berardi’s deal.
Will Sassuolo be interested in him? Its quite a risk
It will be a thing of joy for him to lift the scudetto with Milan before his departure. Same goes for bakayoko, romagnoli and kessie
