ML: Messias wants to prove the Milan fans wrong and it starts on the pitch

Junior Messias was announced by AC Milan on the final day of the summer transfer window, which came as a huge surprise to many. Now, one month later, the Brazilian is ready to make his debut for the club.

The 30-year-old has been working on his condition since his arrival and took part in his first training session yesterday. Therefore, there’s a good chance that he will be included in the squad for tomorrow’s game, especially with Alessandro Florenzi’s injury.

Messias, as reported by MilanLive, has two clear goals: 1) prove the Milan fans wrong as they have been very sceptical and 2) convince Milan to exercise the buy-out clause in the loan deal. The Rossoneri paid €2.5m for him and the clause is set at €5.5m.

It will all start on the pitch for the attacking midfielder, who now must show that he belongs at the club. The first month with the club was far from ideal but at least he’s now fully fit and ready to fight for a spot in the team.
