ML: Milan could close their market after third signing but one more possibility exists

By Oliver Fisher -

After a few quiet days to begin the month, AC Milan’s January window has sprung into life with a flurry of activity.

Soualiho Meite arrived on Friday from Torino on loan with option to buy, while MilanLive reports how Milan are getting ready to welcome striker Mario Mandzukic – who will soon be in the city to carry out medical examinations – and Fikayo Tomori of Chelsea.

The report mentions that the Rossoneri management – who have been one of the most active in Serie A this month – could therefore close the club’s market well in advance. It is difficult to imagine a new addition in the days to come even if there are still several names on the wish list.

However, there could yet be one more addition in Florian Thauvin. The winger is a target for the summer, when he will leave on a free transfer, and while an early arrival appears complicated, the sale of Samu Castillejo could open a window. Most likely, the management will talk about it again in a few months.
