ML: Milan could have opportunity to sign €30m Udinese midfielder from Juventus

AC Milan could have the opportunity to land talented midfielder Rolando Mandragora from Juventus this summer, a report claims.

According to MilanLive, Juve’s plan for Mandragora is clear: they intend to use their option to buy him back from Udinese this summer for the €26million fee already agreed. However, from there is the possible objective of selling for capital gains or including him in an exchange deal.

The report mentions that the 22-year-old is a player who could be considered very useful by Milan; a complete midfielder, who is good both on and off the ball.

Returning to Juventus though he knows he probably would not have a spot in the starting XI with the Bianconeri, which affects his hopes for the national team.

It is here where CEO Ivan Gazidis’ vision could be key, as he wants a Milan which will focus on young prospective talents, meaning the Rossoneri are a club where Mandragora would certainly have more space.

The €28-30million that Juventus will ask for seems steep, so the possibility of a swap deal could come about, maybe for Gianluigi Donnarumma – reportedly a key target for Juve – or for captain Alessio Romagnoli, who Juve view as a possible replacement for the 36-year-old Giorgio Chiellini.
