AC Milan are on the lookout for a new right winger this summer and could turn to the Bundesliga as two targets have faded, a report claims.
According to MilanLive, the idea of signing Otavio on a free transfer seems to be over as he is close to renewing with Porto, while Florian Thauvin also appears to be drifting away as a potential target too with the Marseille winger potentially ready to renew too.
Silas Wamangituka of Stuttgart is a player that Milan are looking at, and he is an impressive player based on the stats. The Congolese player has scored 13 goals and has racked up 5 assists this season in all competitions, mainly playing as a right winger though he can also function as a centre-forward.
Wamangituka ‘seems to represent the perfect profile’ for Elliott Management and Ivan Gazidis: young, talented, with good experience, with significant margins for growth.
However, bringing the player to Italy will not be easy as Wamangituka is wanted by the best Bundesliga clubs such as Bayern Munich but above all Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. Not only that, but the 21-year-old already has a price tag of €20-25m.
