AC Milan made several attempts to sign Jhon Duran in the summer, but all were unsuccessful. With the striker’s value skyrocketing, the Rossoneri are in regret.

Signing a striker was a big part of Milan’s summer, and whilst they signed Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham, there have been questions about those that they missed. After all, going from Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee to Morata and Abraham are massive shifts.

The other big name that the Rossoneri made attempts for was Duran. Throughout the summer, and even before it, there were links and reports about the interest. So, when the Diavolo made an offer it did not come as a shock.

Even though they were rebutted at the first attempt, Milan made a few more tries for the Colombian, but all of their efforts met the same answer – no. Now, the Rossoneri could be regretting the decision not to pursue him further.

As Milan Live report, the Aston Villa striker has hit seven goals in 12 games, with the majority of his appearances coming from the bench – astounding figures for the 20-year-old. With this, his value has sky rocketed – it will cost €90 million to get him, rather than the €20m that the Diavolo were attempting in the summer.
