AC Milan could talk about the potential of a swap deal with Atalanta involving defender Mattia Caldara, according to a report.
According to MilanLive, the Rossoneri management will go in search of opportunities when the window opens next month and while the idea of buying a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic is concrete, the feeling is that no major investments will be made for the purchase of a center forward.
An idea could come from Atalanta as reported have suggested that young Dutch striker Sam Lammers could leave due to the fact he is struggling to find space because of Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata.
Lammers still has a valuation of around €12-15m but Milan could get him by using Caldara. He is on loan at Atalanta until June, and the Nerazzurri have an option to buy set at €15m, therefore, with the valuations matching up, a swap deal could very well take place.
