ML: Milan tempted by Udinese star with €35m asking price; Arsenal may soon place bid

AC Milan are tempted to make an offer for Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul but face competition from the Premier League, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, the Rossoneri have talks with the player’s agent Augustin Jimenez and the player was recently in Ibiza, where Paolo Maldini also spent the last few days.

Udinese will not block their star playmaker from leaving this summer, but the issue is that they are asking for around €35million to sell at the moment and they are a notoriously tough team to negotiate with.

De Paul’s versatility in Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 could be very useful though, as he could play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder. Milan want a complete squad ahead of next season, and to have cover in every position.

The report adds that Jimenez is receiving several phone calls, and that proposals of €25million may soon be sent. The interest of Arsenal has risen, who could soon formulate an offer.
