It is now no secret that AC Milan are in the market for a playmaker to replace Hakan Calhanoglu, and one target could come from Rome.
According to MilanLive, Milan could decide to try and land Lorenzo Pellegrini from Roma as the man to replace the Turkey international. While he is not a classic attacking midfielder, he has shown in his career that he can play there, even amassing 11 goals and 9 assists in 47 games played last season.
Pellegrini has a contract expiring in June 2022 and while he has always said he is happy in Rome, a signature has not yet arrived for his renewal. Without putting pen to paper and extending his stay with the Giallorossi, a sale could happen in the coming weeks to avoid losing him for free.
Pellegrini has been linked with Milan in the past and is still on the notebooks of the management, with a price tag of around €25-40m but a swap deal possible too. Leao, for example, could move to the capital as his agent Jorge Mendes looks for options.

Milan management don’t really have anything to offer. If i were them, i’ll do everything possible to my best of buying back the likes of
Milan should open their eyes for crying out loud.
Milan don’t really value what they have.
It happened with pessina, locatteli, andre silva, paqueta and now it could happen with hauge, leao, colombo, tonali. I am happy for gigio and hakan departures. They were mercenaries.
Maldini makes a fatal mistake letting Pioli decide who comes and who goes. I am convinced that this coach will soon show his limits.
Second what you’ve said: Pioli will show, actually during the second half of 2020/21 season already showed, his limits by sticking to the one-dimension but experience average players while stubbornly refused to give Hauge and other youngster some fair chances to play as had done in the first part of the season.
Pioli lost his game plans at the second half of the season and almost lost the chance to squeeze in the CL spot if not for the two penalty kicks at the last game.
Sorry Charima but please explain what they have at the moment?
In order to challenge in CL you have t have the X factor
They need to buy Amine from Toulouse , Firpo from Barca, Yaremchuk from Gent, Kone from Lille, Majir from Dinamo just for starters.
he is a bad player and I don’t see how he could fit into Milan at all. The price is high I don’t think it’s a player for Milan. For 30 million, Milan can bring Vlasic, who would be a real reinforcement for Milan
I agree for Vlasic ! Top player and young.
