Milan are preparing for the upcoming season as the players returned to Milanello this morning. Most of them anyway, as some are still on vacation due to international duties, but it’s nice to see them back.
The first game of the season is scheduled for August 22nd as there are no qualifiers to take into consideration this summer. In other words, Stefano Pioli will be able to prepare for the season with some more time.
Today, as confirmed by MilanNews, 19 players are present at Milanello for the training season. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, for example, is one of them but he’s still recovering from his knee surgery and will not train with the squad.
The full list: Plizzari, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Conti, Kerkez, Caldara, Hauge, Tonali, Calabria, Saelemaekers, Krunic, Colombo, Tatarusanu, Hernandez, Tomori, Ibrahimovic, Castillejo, Leao, Bennacer.
There will be some friendly games for the Rossoneri, of course, with one against Nice scheduled. There have also been some reports suggesting that they could take on Real Madrid, given the good relations between the clubs.
