MN: 2021-22 could be Ibrahimovic’s last season at Milan – when a decision will be made

By Oliver Fisher -

It cannot be ruled out that we are currently in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s last season as a Milan player, according to a report.

MilanNews report that a lot of Ibrahimovic’s future beyond the summer will depend on his physical condition and how he finds himself feeling athletically when the spring comes around. The 40-year-old is always welcome at Milan who consider him to be a real leader, but age is may be catching up to him.

Ibra will know when the time comes to stop as well, the report adds, and that is how a decision will be made on whether the 2021-22 season is Ibrahimovic’s last at Milan.

It comes after La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) reported this morning that head coach Stefano Pioli wanted the Swede to be ready for the game against Hellas Verona at San Siro on Saturday night, but it is now unlikely that the 40-year-old will be back as he continues to battle Achilles inflammation.
