MN: A bluffing game and non-existent offers – what filters from Milan on Kessie rumours

By Oliver Fisher -

The Franck Kessie saga continues to drag on, and the latest report claims that AC Milan are unaware of any concrete offers from other teams.

According to Franco Ordine’s latest column for MilanNews, official sources from the club have made it known in recent days that ‘there are no offers from other clubs’ for Kessie. The report claims that this means Paolo Maldini must have made some phone calls around to see if there is really an interest in securing Kessie in February 2022 on a pre-contract.

Therefore, there are two possible situations. Either the clubs contacted lied and they have actually been in touch with Kessie and his entourage, or the Ivorian’s agent boasted about offers that are not concrete in an attempt to earn a few more million from Milan.

In the meantime there is a real risk of a rift developing between the fanbase and Kessie unless someone takes charge. Kessie himself spoke in Tokyo in a completely different way and it will be up to him to explain the possible change of position.

  1. Milan should also bluff with this traitor. Give him a new contract and sell him in the winter or summer for €50 million, let this piece of crap leave.

  2. How is this management so dumb ?
How can they not see the writing on the wall?
Did Calabria’s new contract attract much fuss, he performed as much as Kessie in his own position last season. Management should move this guy on and lets forget the bullshit as this whole soap opera can affect the other team members
