One of the sub-plots of today’s matcha against Lazio at San Siro is the reception that Kessie will get from the home crowd when he takes to the field and when his name is read out by the announcer. During the Olympics in Tokyo, the Ivorian declared his desire to stay at the club but a month and a half later, no signature has arrived.
According to the latest from MilanNews, the Rossoneri management feel that PSG’s offer seems like a bluff by Kessie’s agent George Atangana, who is in turn hoping for Milan to raise their bid to his client.
Nonetheless, one thing that is certain is that Kessie is tempting to many clubs so waiting too long would be a bad move. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to close the metter in a very short time and – if no agreement is reached – identify the replacement quickly unlike the attacking midfielder position this summer.
