It’s a while until the summer mercato opens, but according to MilanNews.it, Leonardo is already working on it. The Brazilian is allegedly looking to secure Gremio’s star, Everton.
It’s no secret that Milan are looking to bring in a winger. The last weeks of the January window were characterized by the Rossoneri’s search for just that.
Today came another fresh twist to the saga. The ever-reliable MilanNews.it are now reporting that Leonardo is currently working on securing Gremio’s highly regarded winger, Everton.
Everton, who has been monitored by Milan since January, is one of the Brazilian leagues most sought after players and has a release clause set at €80m. However, MilanNews.it claim that Gremio are willing to negotiate a deal in the region of €40-50m for the star player.
Milan have before been linked with Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin and Watford winger – and ex-Rossonero – Gerard Deulofeu.
