AC Milan are set for a meeting with the agent of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Vasco Walz in the coming days, according to a report.
The 16-year-old is currently under contract until the end of the season and could leave Dortmund, with Milan sniffing an opportunity to bolster their youth ranks. Predominantly a central midfielder, the teenager has played for Germany at U17 level and has four appearances in the U17 Bundesliga-West for Borussia this season, registering one assist as per Transfermarkt.
According to the latest from MilanNews, a meeting is planned between the Milan management and Vasco Walz’s agent, Hector Peris, who will arrive in Italy in the coming weeks to try to a the definitive agreement over his transfer.
It appears therefore that things are at an advanced stage and given Dortmund’s reputation for developing young talent and giving them opportunities in the first team, it would represent a statement coup for the Rossoneri.
