With just one week left until the season starts, Milan’s squad is coming along nicely but there are still some things to be done on the market. The midfield is one of the priorities, with Yacine Adli on their radar.
The Rossoneri currently have just Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali for the midfield tandem, which won’t cut it depth-wise. To make matters a bit more tricky, Kessie has sustained an injury and will miss the first two games.
With that said, the timing of the injury isn’t horrendous as it could have been in the middle of the season. Therefore, as reported by MilanNews, Milan won’t rush to reinforce the midfield but will work as usual.
They want to close the signing of Yacine Adli as soon as possible and the agreement is now ‘one step away’, per the report. Not much is missing to reach the decisive agreement with Bordeaux for the transfer.
