MN: Signing attacking depth is crucial to ensuring Giroud’s form at Milan

AC Milan need to ensure that they sign more attacking players so that they do not overuse Olivier Giroud and limit his potency, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the French striker is at an age where he cannot have the same level of football requested of him as was the case in the 2022/23 season.

Giroud had a very good season for the Rossoneri again as he scored 18 times despite being 36 years of age. There was a big patch of the season where he was out of sorts and looked tired.

This is because Milan did not have anyone that could properly rotate with him and score goals, so he had to play 47 times across the season.

That cannot happen again, which is why Milan are working hard to try and sign a new striker or two. Marcus Thuram is a player the club are pushing hard for, but there are lots of other names in the mix.
