Zvonimir Boban, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara were all present at Milanello on Tuesday afternoon for the training session ahead of the trip to face Juventus.
It has been a turbulent period for Milan with the public clashing of Boban and CEO Ivan Gazidis regarding the contacting of Ralf Rangnick to become the new head coach and sporting director.
As MilanNews note, Boban, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara – i.e. the members of the entire Milan sporting department – were at Milanello from lunchtime.
The three waited for the team to arrive and then went to the sidelines where they watched the final training session before Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Juventus.
At the moment there have been no talks with the players regarding the events of the last few days, but the trio with their presence want to give a signal of peace to Pioli and his boys in view of what is a huge match tomorrow. It should be remembered that until the official announcement arrives, Boban remains in office in his role as Chief Football Officer and is fully legitimised in doing his job.
