MN: Brahim Diaz now expected to start against Dinamo Zagreb – Pioli’s plan

Some further news has emerged regarding the team that should take to the field against Dinamo Zagreb at San Siro tomorrow night.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Brahim Diaz is currently the favourite to start over Charles De Ketelaere in the role of central attacking midfielder in the 4-2-3-1 system that Stefano Pioli should field against Dinamo Zagreb.

This choice is part of a technical evaluation that took place today in the final training session at Milanello, with both having been tried in the role at different points, but it is also relevant in view of the match against Napoli on Sunday when De Ketelaere is expected to get the spot back.

Milan have a hoodoo to end, as last time the Rossoneri got three points at San Siro in the Champions League was all the way back on 13 September 2013, when they defeated Celtic 2-0 thanks to an own goal by Emilio Izaguirre and a goal from Sulley Muntari.
