MN: Brest leave midfielder out of squad due to ongoing negotiations with Milan – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

A strong signal may have arrived from France that AC Milan are closing in on signing Romain Faivre from Brest, according to a report.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Faivre did not leave with the rest of the Brest squad for their trip to face Strasbourg today, and the reason is linked to the transfer market, as the player is at the centre of a negotiation between Milan and the Ligue 1 club.

For days, Faivre has given his priority to Milan and has communicated to Brest that he wants to be sold to the Rossoneri, with the management and his entourage at work to find an economic balance.

The 23-year-old is a flexible midfielder who can play as both a box to box type player or as a playmaker, and even on either wing. He was at Monaco before moving to Brest, where he has amassed 40 appearances in total, scoring 6 goals and adding 7 assists.
