MN: Injury bulletin as Calabria and Pulisic have recovered for Fiorentina clash

By Isak Möller -

Davide Calabria and Christian Pulisic have recovered from their injuries and will be available against Fiorentina on Saturday. It’s a necessary boost for Stefano Pioli, who already is dealing with a couple of key absences.

After two points in four league games, Milan desperately need to bounce back with a win against Fiorentina. Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao will miss out, for different reasons, and this means the backups will have to step up for the Rossoneri.

According to MilanNews, Calabria and Pulisic took part in the entire training session at Milanello this afternoon. They have recovered from their injuries, in other words, and are expected to play from start against La Viola.

Simon Kjaer and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, meanwhile, worked individually on the pitch and their condition will have to be assessed in the coming days. As added by our correspondent Luca Maninetti, the Englishman is recovering from stomach flu and that’s why he didn’t work with the team.

Pulisic is expected to start on the left flank, with Samuel Chukwueze taking the spot on the right. Luka Jovic should be the starting striker as Noah Okafor played a lot with Switzerland during the international break. You can take a look at the full XI here.
