MN: Calabria removed at half time due to physical discomfort – his condition

Davide Calabria made way for AC Milan at half time during tonight’s 1-1 draw against Porto at San Siro and it was not a tactical change, a report claims.

There was a change made after 45 minutes and it raised some eyebrows as Pierre Kalulu came on in place of Calabria, but the latter had been terrorised in the first half by the electric Luis Diaz, who scored the opening goal having been found wide open in space over on the right side of Milan’s box.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Calabria was removed at the end of the first half due to physical discomfort. The full-back had some dizziness that led the Rossoneri coach to replace him as a precaution, no doubt with an eye on Sunday’s crucial derby match against Inter.

Kalulu went on to have a decisive hand in the equalising goal as his shot was turned into the back of the net, but the hope of course is that Calabria is back for the weekend.
