MN: Castillejo and Conti expected to leave Milan in January – the situation

AC Milan won’t just focus on signings next month, but also on sales. Two players that are destined to leave the Rossoneri are Samu Castillejo and Andrea Conti, which has been in the works for a long time.

Castillejo has proved to be quite useful for Stefano Pioli and thus stands at 122 minutes played for the season. It probably would have been more if he hadn’t got injured, which kept him out for quite some time.

However, as reported by MilanNews, there is no doubt about his future with the club. Real Betis tried to sign him in the summer and now Genoa have expressed their interest, with former Milan man Andriy Shevchenko at the helm of the club.

As for Andrea Conti, it has been confirmed that he will leave the club in January but it perhaps won’t be super easy to find him a new club, although Empoli have initiated contacts. A very low transfer fee (if any) should be expected for the Italian international, therefore.
