Lorenzo Colombo will be back at Milanello tomorrow after getting an extended vacation, given his participation in the U21 Euros with Italy. We will have to wait a little longer for the AC Milan stars, though.
A majority of the squad started the pre-season training earlier this week but a total of 12 players were given an extended vacation. That’s because they all featured for their respective national team in June after the Serie A season came to an end.
According to MilanNews, Colombo will be back at Milanello tomorrow but the likes of Maignan, Tomori, Theo, Kjaer, Thiaw, Kalulu, Ballo-Tourè, Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere, Leao and Giroud will return on Wednesday.
In any case, these players will be travelling with the squad to the United States for the pre-season tour on Saturday. Stefano Pioli will be eager to test the 4-3-3 formation and it will be very interesting to see the new signings, including Tijjani Reijnders.
Hopefully Colombo shows that he already improved and can become our 2nd ST option.
