Defender Andrea Conti will remain at AC Milan despite tempting offers from both Italy and abroad, a report claims.
There were strong doubts about Conti’s future with the Rossoneri, largely due to the fact he looks set to be the second choice right-back under Marco Giampaolo for the Rossoneri next season, after Davide Calabria.
This led to suggestions he could leave the club in order to seek out more playing time, and earlier in the week it was claimed that Werder Bremen had made an official offer for the 25-year-old.
Milan were even apparently shopping around for possible replacements, and Tottenham’s Serge Aurier was mentioned as a possible option.
However, as per a report from MilanNews.it, Conti will remain at Milan beyond the current window.
They state that the former Atalanta man is more than happy to stay and fight with Calabria for a starting spot.
The report does confirm that his agent received offers from Werder Bremen and Parma, however for now it seems Conti will remain a Rossoneri player.
