MN: ‘Crucial days’ – Cardinale holds more meetings over new stadium

Gerry Cardinale is making the most of his time in Italy as he is trying to push ahead on the new stadium front, with this month potentially a crucial one.

Antonio Vitiello writes in his latest column for MilanNews that Cardinale will be at San Siro tonight for Milan’s opening game in the Champions League group stages for 2023-24 against Newcastle United.

He was also at the derby on Saturday night and yesterday he had a series of meetings regarding the new stadium. It seems that the club are ready to push full steam ahead for the project in San Donato Milanese, there is confidence that things can finally come to fruition.

These are ‘crucial days’ that are coming up, given that the official project is expected to be filed with the technical information by the end of the month.

From there the details of the plans will be analysed before hopefully getting final approval.
