Fans are not happy with the current situation at AC Milan, and it is understandable why. Things are almost the polar opposite of what expectations are, and things must be changed quickly if fans are to remain onside.
For the supporters, it has been a difficult few years. Since winning the Scudetto Milan have been on a downward spiral, one that has continued to deteriorate season after season, and this season could be on trend to continue this poor streak.
After last season, fans had dreamt of positive change when the Pioli era ended, but this has not been delivered so far. Instead, the Rossoneri look a shell of themselves, devoid of confidence, leaders or ideas.
Questions are coming thick and fast for everyone. Rafael Leao’s attitude and performances – questioned. Theo Hernadez’s attitude and performances – questioned. Paulo Fonseca’s tactics – questioned. The management – questioned.
AC Milan. Questioned.
At present, the Diavolo do not seem like the club synonymous with success, but rather familiar with negativity. This weekend, they have a chance to change that against Inter. A positive result could restart the season, but another loss would be incredibly damaging.
As Milan News reports, the Curva Sud will not protest during the game, after all ‘there is no need to further aggravate the derby atmosphere, already charged with tension by its very definition’.
However, Tuesday night could be repeated if things do not go in the Rossoneri’s favour. Inter could win a record-breaking seventh consecutive derby, and this, according to the report, would make the Sud ‘behave accordingly’.
I don’t understand why are they not protesting against Zlatan.
Even if he made the right choices (which he is not, quite the opposite), why would anyone want the club to be run by someone with his attitude, who thinks he is a god who is always right, who doesn’t answer to anyone, including fans?
I’m sure that even those who disagreed with Maldini’s sporting decisions still admired his elegant demeanor.
A club like Milan deserves to be led by a gentleman, not a chidish clown.
Why just ibra??? Furlani and moncada are just ad bad, if not worse. These snakes will put the blame on ibra for everything. Last season’s merkato wasn’t any better. Puli was the only good purchase, the rest garbage. All three of them should leave immediately without any questions. Hite experienced managers.
Agree that they should leave too, based on their decisions, but Zlatan also has an attitude problem on top. That attitude might have helped him when he was playing, but it’s not doing him any favors at the moment.
It’s staggering to believe that we are in this mess, because we adhered to the FFP, those with huge debts and high salaries are celebrating trophies and success, and I am yet to see the consequences of them spending and spending and winning and winning and having the strongest squad
We are celebrating our balance sheet.
We need direction fast, it is impossible to take our management seriously, I know the opinion on Maldini is split here but really at least with him we had some semblance of direction, now we have nothing.
On every opportunity Liverpool played the ball across the field, Fonseca and the players did not counter that once, every team will attack us down the right and will create a scoring opportunity every time, what will Fonseca, Zlatan (too busy sacking Abate’s DAD’) and the rest of management do?…..nothing….season is a loss, what a shame, even Napoli bounced back but we are just shameful losers at present
We’ll see whether it’s justice or Bitcoin which prevails (I have my suspicions), but Manchester City JUST started their “trial” on 115 counts of violating FFP.
At present, Manchester City are the betters’ favorites both to win the EPL and to be relegated (because of the potential penalty they could face).
It’ll probably be a few months before we hear the result, and then, of course, they will appeal to every bribable body in football and sport, but we should have a resolution by the end of the season.
End of the season, I hope you don’t believe that, nothing will transpire but a fine and maybe a transfer embargo and they have enough players stocked away for at least 4-5 years
Malik is probably right but if anything city should get demoted several leagues down for their breaches.
How dare you comparing Lion to Kitten
Bring back Maldini
So a European night in CL against Liverpool isn’t motivation enough. But attempting NOT to lose the derby for the SEVENTH time is somehow more motivation than the last six attempts???
Pulisic took the mantle and provided them with the best possible to start to that match. It’s telling that, even with 49.4% of possession, the entire team only managed one more shot on goal (by Leao) in the remaining 87 minutes.
I know it’s not in his character, but he’s had a year-plus to learn Italian (even though I’m guessing the team probably speaks more English than Italian), he’s the Captain of the USMNT, and Pulisic needs to grow into that sort of position on the team. He could start by being vocal with teammates who aren’t pulling their weight, especially the big name players like Leao and/or Theo, when they’re having their “off days.”
On a completely unrelated topic, are the management team completely unable to find ANY Italian players that would fit into the side, even with their ridiculous 20M Euro price limit? Juve got Chiesa for 12M, Como got Raphael Varane for free (not Italian, or what he used to be, but still better than any of our CBs), Atalanta got Bellanova for 20M, Ruggeri is rated at 20M, Di Lorenzo is rated at 15M and Juve got Di Gregorio from Monza for a 4.5M loan fee with an option to buy at 14.3M fee (so 18.8M). He has more long term potential than Maignan, and we could have offloaded an injury-prone Maignan for (according to TransferMarkt) 38M.
Just my opinion. Have a nice weekend, all, and pray for Sunday!
It’s already worst enough last season when they’re crowned Scudetto in a derby. And now, there’s another record to be broken. Oh my.. Brace yourself guys.
Oo… no. Another record will be broken. Milan management will be famous in history.
Keep up the good word trophyless management, you are famous, you will make another record broken, seventh consecutive lose in derby.
GOD BLESS YOU RUI COSTA, YOU JUST HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!
SHELVE RIVALRY ASIDE, INTER SERVES AS A MODEL.
I’m afraid of a heavy defeat. 5 or 6 goals differens. Inter looks very strong at the moment and we are very weak. We don’t have any good defensive player. The only one is the goalkeeper. But how many shots can he take. No hope for this game. It is all most a certain lost.
For certain things certain people need to take responsibility:
1. If Kalulu turns out to be good for Juve, who came up with the idea?
2. Tonali, loosing a top midfielder far before his prime, and replacing him with a bunch of players which are not worthed half of the money we paid after one year.
3. Empty San Siro against Liverpool.
4. Fonseca.
5. The guy who got the idea for “FEARLESS” vs Liverpool
For me i hope we lose 3 goal different. Why? Because we have disaster managment, disaster coach and at the end disaster players.
Better go now down and start i hope with new people or make draw and think things will be better.
How things can be better when we sold all our better players or loan, and bring idiots who cant play at C3. If Inter hate us then they will play draw to look how we disapired at next 2 months.
Fans? We are idiots,we support club? What club? Milan not club which love his fans. Milan is now club who look only for money and nothing else.
How Barcelona can play with kids and we cant put 30min any our young player, because we dont want grow up them we want only sell players and buy garbage.
The weak point is right full back. Why was this not addressed? We bought a guy who coach can’t play because he’s not good enough so we have to go the same tired old guy should be coaching by now. That’s where all the goals came from right wing back, plus the goalie. Give the young guys a chance they can do better than that.
