MN: Defender should return to Man Utd as Milan are disappointed by his performances

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are unlikely to make an attempt to sign Diogo Dalot from Manchester United on a permanent basis, a report claims.

The Rossoneri secured Dalot as their final signing of the summer transfer window late on, as the Portuguese youth international arrived on a season-long dry loan deal from United.

Dalot has so far has seen his starts mostly restricted to the Europa League due to the impressive performances of Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez on the right and left flanks respectively.

Not only that, but the former Porto man has not exactly given many assurances when he has played, as he has been very inconsistent with the general trend of his performances being downward.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Dalot ‘should return to Manchester’ once the season is over, implying that there is not much interest on the Rossoneri’s part in making the deal a permanent one.
