There continues to be some speculation about Ismael Bennacer and a potential future away from AC Milan, and the details of his release clause have been confirmed.
MilanNews writes that since Monday Bennacer has started training at Milanello with his team-mates for the start of the new season. The Algerian midfielder had a difficult 2023-24, missing the first half due to a knee injury after an operation in May.
Bennacer would like to finally relaunch himself after having had a series of complicated months in which he was unable to express himself at his best. However, in recent days, some clubs in the Saudi Pro League have begun to make enquiries to explore the possibility of an offer.
More than one Arabian club have approached Bennacer to understand the feasibility of the pursuit, thinking of exploiting the clause in the player’s contract given that they have very deep pockets.
How much is it worth and how long does it last? Bennacer has a clause of €50m and – according to the report – it is valid for the entire summer. It is not limited to the month of July as some sources reported.
The 26-year-old’s contract with Milan runs until 30 June 2027, and it is likely that the new head coach Paulo Fonseca will have a say in his future.

So basically another team can activate the clause on the last day of the mercato and if the player agreed to leave you won’t have time to replace him.

That renewal is less worse than the other amateur hour renewal by the current directors who last year put a buy option on CDK far less than his market value. Now Atalanta has a 34m asset but paid 22m for it. But we can pick and choose to suit narratives around here.

Isn’t almost every release clause higher than the player actual value when the contract is signed? Not to mention that based on his performances and availability, Bennacer is overpaid at 4 nil a year.
But, don’t worry, no one is stupid enough to trigger it. If he is sold, he will go for around the same money that he was bought.
And now he brings up CDK.
CDK value after his 1st season at Milan plummeted because he was trash. He wasn’t worth that 35 mil that Maldini overpaid for him. Between the loan fee and the buyout Milan already collected 25 million for CDK, plus they still have some bonuses and 10% resale clause. By the time he leaves Atalanta, Milan would get almost all their money back from that flop.
But since you brought up CDK, let’s bring up Paqueta and Piatek sales by the amateur director.
Paqueta was bought for 38,4 mil. Had a great first 6 months, Maldini brings the professor Giampaolo who says that Paqueta is to Brazilian for him, doesn’t play him, and a year later Paqueta is sold for 23 million. 👏
Piatek was bought for 35 million, after 12 months and 16 goals, Maldini sold him for 24 million. 👏

Pelegrino make ACM missed best italian CB right now calafiori last season just because want to save 2-3m euro (im sure furlani regret signing pelegrino because he is more cheap few million euro from calafiori last season ) . Over all lets move on and go to next season with new rumoured player like morata ,pavlovic ,emerson & fofana . It is good if ACM can sign fofana & pavlovic first and renew theo & maignan first

Zirkzee was just about the money, he failed at Bayern and will fail at most big clubs, playing second fiddle to Rashford and Hojland.
We dodged a bullet, Morata will score more goals then Zirkzee in any given season and in relation to explosive players, we have Rafa Leao who wipes the floor with Zirkzee.
I do not feel that Zirkzee is even as good as Pulisic.
We should invest 25m in Broja or David, they can have time to settle and get used to seria a, while we have a worthy forward in Morata.
Don’t forget Camarda is close as well Yamal has proven that age is not always the key, like him Carmada is physically almost there and could have valuable appearances this season
