MN: Donnarumma’s non-renewal gives Milan greater flexibility in other deals – Kessie an example

By Oliver Fisher -

The strategy that AC Milan’s management have taken regarding Gianluigi Donnarumma’s renewal could be an indication of what is to come.

According to MilanNews, the fact that Milan will now not have a player who is paid twice as much as the others compared to the maximum allocated salary ceiling of around €4m net per season means that the club and the technical area can now act differently, both on the market and with other renewal situations.

This extends to the future of Franck Kessie too, as his contract expires in June 2022 and his future must be resolved sooner rather than later for peace of mind. The President has been the protagonist of an amazing year and has always been one of the most consistent even in the years of instability.

He wants to stay at Milan, but asks for his current value to be recognised with a request for €5m net per season to renew. Well, now Milan could meet that figure with greater serenity of mind knowing that it is not as high as Donnarumma’s salary would have been.

  1. You’re the idiot who writes it, Kesie doesn’t deserve 5 million euros, Normally it would be 2.5 million. I think that Kesie will also leave, of course, because Milan will not pay the money he asks for. Donnarumma is worth 10 million euros per season because he is the best goalkeeper in the world. However, since Milan is run by one thieving organization, Eliot Donnarumma, and others will not get the money they want. Because Eliot wants cheap players and later to sell them for big money. Milan will never achieve anything while Eliot is at the club. That is the truth and the reality that the fans will drink bitterly every week when they watch Milan lose games and what are the chances that Milan will achieve something big, of course, and that is all we fans will get who expect Milasn to be famous again. it will no longer be possible Milan has become just a toy store that Eliot will sell and buy children and then sell again and so on in a circle. That’s all we’ll get

    1. you aren’t really seeing the situation with Donnarumma. Raiola wanted 20M for himself. If Donnarumma alone wanted 10M/Season he probably would’ve got it, But 20M more is fu**ing too much.
Stop being pessimistic and if you are so in for Donnarumma then you might as well leave with him to show your support for Barcelona. Kessie has been the best Milan player there is and completely deserves atleast 4M-4.5M. Donnarumma is far from the best gk in the world. You are too deluded. if you think he is the best. This season he isn’t even the best in Serie A. Elliot deserves praise since they have returned us to financial stability especially after Berlusconi fucked us up. in the end. Football has changed with time. If we don’t adapt then we gonna end up like Barca(1B debt). Madrid (1B debt) Inter( so heavy debt that even after winning the Scudetto they are gasping for money and probably Conte will also leave.

I repeat again. IF YOU ARE SO FUCKING ATTACHED TO DONNARUMMA LEAVE FOR BARCA OR WHATEVER THE FUCK HIS NEXT CLUB IS.

        1. Cesar was the guy that supported the Super League. That is enough to know that you shouldn’t even read what he wrote, at least not as something serious, he is lost. Kessie will probably agree on 4mil + bonuses, of course he wants to be paid better.

          1. Ikr. I firmly believe that the initial demand of the agent is always higher and it boils down to a mid value which both of the parties agree upon. I also believe he will atleast earn 4M.

If a shit agent like Raiola could come down from initial request of 12M to 10M I believe Kessie’s agent will do it too!

      1. Well said. Donnarumma is not the best GK in Serie A…def not the best in the world. 10M net for a GK is too much. Renew Kessie & Calabria instead with savings.

        1. 😁. Ever stalwarts like Ter Stegen earn 6M. 10M is way out of question already. + 20M for RAIOLA. It’s just too much
