MN: Elliott have invested over €700m into Milan but could sell the club for a profit

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s owners Elliott Management have invested over €700m into the club and could sell for a profit if they wanted to, a report claims.

According to Franco Ordine’s latest for MilanNews, the total of Elliott’s payments in the coffers of Milan amounts to €533,651,056 and then the initial €300m lent to the Chinese must be added, meaning the total rises to €833m, while the repayment of the bond must be taken off so the net total is €705m.

The current valuation of Milan is around €750m, which means that the American fund would generate a small gain in the event of a sale to a new ownership. This is not the case for Inter and for Juventus, who have huge debts that have not been paid off and this certainly hampers the amount that either club could get if they were to decide to change ownership.

  1. Pls sell the club to a bigger buyer so Milan and move forward, Elliott thanks for not making Milan it in dept but if u see who can make Milan move forward pls sell O.

    1. We are moving forward. Back in the CL and in a financial healthy direction. Only a few years ago we were banned from European football because of FFP. They don’t have to sell the club. They have a smart management. A new owner can’t just put money in the club and buy the best players. That’s not allowed anymore. All the clubs working on this basis are doomed to fail except for PSG who are allowed to cheat

  2. The 700 million spent on Milan. is 350m not part of the money loan to yong li to buy Milan? 200m paid for the garbage player bought under that management. Since Elliott management took over they have invest further 150 for loan and players. In all honesty is that not a great sum for European power house like milan. Yong Li spent 950 for the acquisition but lost it for 350m. If Elliot want to appeal to the fans and prospective buyer is it not to sign great players. Look at our neighbour inter they have sold hakimi for 70m and possibly lukaku for 150m combined two players sold for 220m isn’t that a good business. You spend to assemble great team not buy shit and sell for shit capital gains. This management are not serious. You can’t buy decent player for below 40m, look at Napoli they spent how much on osimhen if they wanna sell will they sell him for meager transfer fee. Elliot are a stingy owner they shouldn’t give us excuses for signing old players like giroud with little or no resale value. Tammy Abraham who is an English player was offered to Milan but milan prefers giroud. Wow! In two to three season if milan would have bought Abraham and he click immediately milan will sell him nothing less than 150m but the management prefers 35yrs over 22yrs English player. I laugh this management in mandarin Chinese. Look at the players linked to milan before can milan buy them now. Look at dani olmo, haaland, and more. This management don’t understand modern football. Man city with their stars still want to buy grealish and harry kane are they stupid? What do I know?
