MN: Five reasons why Milan should redeem Tomori from Chelsea without hesitation

Fikayo Tomori was an important player for Milan in the second half of the 2020/21 season as he arrived in January and immediately filled a gap in the squad. Therefore, he’s expected to stay at the club.

The Rossoneri managed to include a €28m buy-out clause in the loan deal and it seems they will exercise this option. Chelsea aren’t willing to make any discounts and the Rossoneri shouldn’t have any doubts, as explained by MilanNews.

In fact, the report detailed five reasons why Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara should sign the centre-back without hesitation: reliability, player’s will, price tag, technique and speed. Five things that really highlight what a great deal this is.

Speaking of the deal, the €28m price is very low considering how hard it is to find a good centre-back on the market, for little money at least. In addition to the transfer fee,  Tomori’s salary will be very affordable for Milan.

In just six months at the club, the 23-year-old quickly adapted to Italian football and was very solid throughout the loan spell, using his pace and technique to really impress. Furthermore, he’s fallen in love with the club and wants to stay.
