MN: Florenzi has earned a permanent stay but Milan want to negotiate with Roma

Alessandro Florenzi arrived at Milan on a loan deal from Roma after winning the European Championships with Italy, and he has seemingly earned enough for a permanent stay.

MilanNews writes how after some initial difficulties due to injury, Florenzi showed his character and versatility through increasingly decisive performances. He managed to win the first Scudetto of his career as one of the leaders, so now the ball passes to the Milan management.

The price agreed in the last summer market between Milan and Roma was €4.5m but Paolo Maldini could think of sitting at the negotiating table with his counterparts to try and get a small discount on that figure.

Not only is the 31-year-old useful because of the experience he has and the influence on younger team-mates, but also as a technical and tactical asset to Pioli given he has played numerous positions under his leadership, always making himself available for the cause.
