MN: Four signings and several sales – Milan expecting a busy August

AC Milan will soon complete their eighth signing of the summer but they are not expected to stop there with four more potential additions.

MilanNews writes recall that Milan have so far acquired Sportiello, Romero, Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic, Okafor, Chukwueze, Reijnders and soon Musah will join, but Furlani and Moncada have yet to complete the squad.

More than anything, some tweaks will be needed such as a deputy to Theo Hernandez in the role of left-back. Riccardo Calafiori from Basel is the favourite with Rogerio from Sassuolo as the first alternative.

Another central defender to replace Gabbia will be needed after he moved to Villarreal on loan, plus another midfielder and another striker like Alejo Veliz. This will be done without crazy expenses and rather it will be about seizing opportunities.

Some sales will be needed too to balance things. Fodé Ballo-Touré and Divock Origi should join Ante Rebic in heading out of the exit door, while Mattia Caldara is tipped to leave and Lorenzo Colombo could be loaned out.

Watch out for possible offers for Yacine Adli and Charles De Ketelaere too, both of whom can be sold.
