MN: France call-up is a key milestone for Hernandez – road to the top continues

By Isak Möller -

Theo Hernandez has been a key player for AC Milan in the last few seasons, asserting himself as one of the best left-backs in Serie A. However, he never got called up to France’s national team, until now.

As highlighted by MilanNews, Hernandez has finally been included in the France squad, which was unexpected. Not because of the left-back’s performances, of course, but because Didier Deschamps seemingly hasn’t been a huge fan of it.

Hernandez could get the chance against Ukraine tomorrow, but it must be stated that the No.19 isn’t in a hurry. After waiting for so long, he’s eager to work hard and earn his spot in the starting XI, continuing his path to the top of football.

In addition to helping Milan this season, Hernandez will be motivated by individual goals, most notably the World Cup next year. His presence in that competition is far from certain and he will have to impress with both the Rossoneri and France to get there.
