MN: Further injury worry for Milan ahead of Man Utd clash as centre-back trains separately

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan may have a further selection worry to deal with ahead of tomorrow’s game against Manchester United as Alessio Romagnoli did individual work this morning.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the final preparations for the trip to Old Trafford began a few minutes ago ahead of the first leg of the last 16 Europa League tie against United. The absences of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ismael Bennacer and Mario Mandzukic were already known, but there could yet be more problems.

From the training images that have been broadcast from Milanello and on the Facebook profile of the club, it can be seen that three other Rossoneri players did not train with the rest of the group: captain Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez and Ante Rebic.

It remains to be understood if they will join their team-mates later during training or if they too will not be part of the Milan team that will fly to the city of Manchester in the afternoon.
