Milan CEO Gazidis and Chief Football Officer Boban have flown to London for a meeting with the Elliott leadership.
Both men were captured at Linate airport waiting to board a flight to London. The meeting with Elliott is expected to be regarding the transfer market and the situation with UEFA.
According to Sport Mediaset, one of the goals is to increase the summer budget from €80m to €100m. Further details are yet to be known.
Milan’s transfer focus has mainly been on the midfield and no doubt that could be discussed. With big name targets such as Dani Ceballos and Isco of Real Madrid, the increase could be granted if Elliott feel the players are valued correctly.
Maldini has stayed behind at Casa Milan and has meetings scheduled throughout the day. Player agents have been in and out of the headquarters all day and the announcement of Massara was planned for today.
