MN: Good news arrives as Bennacer returns to full training with Milan squad

By Oliver Fisher -

Some good news has arrived from training this afternoon as Ismael Bennacer worked with the rest of his team-mates at Milanello, according to a report.

Bennacer had trained on his own prior to today and pessimism began to grow regarding his recovery in view of the game against Frosinone away from home on Saturday night.

Milan fans were hoping for good news from Milanello and it has arrived. MilanNews reports that Bennacer was not only present for the session that the Rossoneri carried out this morning, but he also trained fully with the team.

That means he has fully recovered from the adductor discomfort that has plagued him in the past couple of weeks, and Bennacer’s recovery is fantastic news for Stefano Pioli.

The former Empoli man will be available for the away match at Frosinone which Milan will play on Saturday at 18:00 CET, although it remains to be seen whether he is a contender for a starting spot or not.

Bennacer recovered from the knee surgery he underwent towards the end of last season and made a few appearances before heading to the African Cup of Nations. However, he played only one of three games as Algeria were knocked out in the groups.
