MN: Good news for Pioli as Bakayoko returns to training with the squad

By Oliver Fisher -

After yesterday’s 3-2 comeback victory against Hellas Verona, there is more good news for Stefano Pioli to be able to enjoy.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to training with the rest of the group and therefore has taken the next step in his path to recovery, with a return to being match fit now the target.

The Frenchman was injured in September during the home win against Lazio, leaving prematurely with a calf problem after coming off the bench for his first appearance since returning to the club on loan from Chelsea.

After Rade Krunic made his return to action as a sub during last night’s win over Verona, it is yet another selection boost for Pioli who has been battling a crisis in midfield where there has at times been a lack of depth, but now Bakayoko can enter the rotations once again.
