MN: Hernandez continues individual training ahead of Chelsea and Juve clashes

By Isak Möller -

Theo Hernandez is currently recovering from a muscle injury and it’s believed that he will miss the first leg against Chelsea. This is obviously a huge blow for Milan, as the Frenchman is one of the best left-backs in the world.

According to MilanNews, the muscle problem seems to be getting better as Hernandez continued with his individual training program at Milanello today. It remains to be seen when he will be able to train with the rest of the group. Meanwhile, Divock Origi featured in a part of the training session with the group.

The feeling is that the No.19 could make it back for the Juventus game next weekend, or at the very least the second leg against Chelsea. The first leg, meanwhile, appears to be out of sight for the full-back.

This means that Fode Ballo-Toure will get the chance from start once again on Wednesday, hoping to use the confidence from yesterday’s winner against Empoli to put in a good performance. Against a team like Chelsea, Milan will need him to.
