After taking a role at AC Milan at the end of 2023, there are still some uncertainties about the role that Zlatan Ibrahimovic holds. However, this summer, there is pressure on him to hit the ground running, with several key decisions to be made.
Of course, there is an idea about Ibra’s role, and these have been alluded to several times – see Gerry Cardinale’s interview with the Swede, for example – but there is no knowledge about how far his role stretches and how much he decides.
Whilst being in place during the January mercato, it would be unfair to grade him on this, given the market is not very active in this month. The summer, though, is the perfect opportunity to assess Zlatan’s role and ability to conduct it.
As Milan News writes, operationally, we have not seen much of Zlatan, and whilst his ideas are flowing, there is little tangible evidence of his work. Therefore, in this window, he must offer tangible proof of his ability.
The pressure is on, and the fans desire an improvement on last summer’s mercato, which will be difficult to top, given the quality brought into the club. However, it is doable, and Zlatan will have to deliver, especially given the aim is the Scudetto next year.
Additionally, he must help elect Stefano Pioli’s successor, by no means an easy decision but one which will show his qualities in his role, and will show the fans’ trust in his decisions.

Origi & ballo toure well not much ACM can do , no buyer for them and the small club know they can loan that two until contract expire. Junior messias & Kjaer already official out with caldara. Saladmaker future uncertain if motta out from bologna , we dont know if new coach in bologna need him or not
I dont think any club will try to buy Origi. He will be a great burden such as Caldara
