MN: Ibrahimovic’s Milanello return expected to be a fleeting visit for now

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was seen at Milanello this morning to be close to the AC Milan squad ahead of their Champions League match against Newcastle tomorrow evening.

Given that it wasn’t pre-announced nor was it reported by any source, there was some surprise when Ibrahimovic’s car pulled up at the training ground and he was spotted speaking to Stefano Pioli and CEO Giorgio Furlani while the team did their session.

Pioli revealed in his press conference that the visit had actually been planned for a few days and the Swede was supposed to come to Milanello prior to the 5-1 derby defeat against Inter on Saturday. They might be wishing he had made it now.

According to MilanNews, Ibrahimovic spoke both with the management of Milan and also with the players. At the moment, however, the former striker is not expected to join the club in any capacity, though it cannot be ruled out in the future.

  1. OMG this is so embarrassing and pathetic
Once again Milan calling Ibrahimovic to save Pioli’s butt
I hate this lucky bald c*nt so much
Why do Milan insist upon this fraud so much?

    1. Actually stfu
      This is a horrible development
It means the cheapskate managment are trying their hardest to keep this clown instead of sacking him to get a proper coach

  2. Milan are missing that Ibra-esque presence in the locker room. Kjaer and Maignan are vocal but apparently not enough to moralize this team.

Ibra needs to join the coaching staff. I’m sure PadelZenter or whatever he’s into can survive with him remotely.

    1. Well Kjaer battling his own issues off the field where either Pioli doesn’t want him or the club is trying to move him on. Kinda hard to play leader when you’re really wanted. That leaves only Mike
