MN: Ibrahimovic arrived at Milanello two hours before today’s training session

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is working harder than ever. After returning from international duty with Sweden, the striker is ready to at least make an appearance for AC Milan as they will face Bologna tomorrow.

At the age of 40, his body is no longer what it used to be but that hasn’t stopped Ibrahimovic from working extremely hard. He wants to lead this Milan side to the Scudetto and he won’t stop just because of some pain.

As reported by MilanNews, several players decided to sleep at Milanello today amid the early training session, which is now underway. Ibrahimovic didn’t sleep at the facility but arrived two hours early, specifically at 7:45 this morning.

The determination is certainly not lacking despite his old age and it remains to be seen if the will stay for one more season at the club. As Sweden failed to qualify for the World Cup, perhaps that idea has decreased a little bit in likeliness.

  1. Start him, then bring on Giroud at 60th minute, waiting around to hope he does not get injured or to test his strength is playing with fire, as when and if you do need him come crunch time (which by the way is now), you will know what you have. Now is not the time to have doubts, he is, or he is not ready to finish the season and contribute, simple as that. Ibra is the kind of guy that just lives to be the hero, he hates “so so” games he likes the tight ones where he scores in the final minutes or extra time to be carried off the field…..
