By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to training with his AC Milan team-mates on Sunday after a meeting today, according to a report.

Ibrahimovic has recovered from COVID-19, two weeks after testing positive for the virus. In other words, he will be available for Milan’s important clash against Inter next weekend.

The Swede was stopped by the virus just before the game against Bodo/Glimt, becoming only the second Milan player to test positive. There were doubts about his presence for the derby, but fortunately, he has recovered and well in time.

According to the latest update from MilanNews, Ibrahimovic returned to Milanello for the first time on Saturday after his quarantine period. He met his team-mates and head coach Stefano Pioli for a brief dialogue on the current moment and the state of the team at present.

From tomorrow he will start training at Milanello in view of the derby against Inter a week today.
