MN: Important test awaits for Leao as Pioli could add him to Crotone-Milan squad

By Isak Möller -

Following the win against Bodo/Glimt, which was anything but easy, Milan are now preparing to take on Crotone away from home. The Rossoneri have done the necessary thus far and will be aiming for three more points.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the game, due to his positive COVID test, and Stefano Pioli thus has to make a decision on the attack. He could field the same line-up as last time out, with Lorenzo Colombo up front, but Ante Rebic is now also available.

According to MilanNews.it, Rafael Leao could be included in the squad as well. The former Lille man has recently returned from quarantine and is working to regain his form. Tomorrow will be important to understand his condition, per the report.

Should it look good, then Pioli could add him to the squad list, although he most likely would remain on the bench. After a long absence, therefore, Leao is now on the brink of returning.
